This year State was held at the University of Utah - Huntsman Center. We have never before played here...so it was exciting to get the opportunity. Our first game was on Thursday night at 7:30 - we matched up with Cedar. Cedar ended up being a very tough opponent. We ended up in double overtime (Yes! Double!). There were several moments in this game that could have changed the outcome...but we held on. Luck was on our side. The top two pictures (left to right) are my favorites. The first of the final score - nothing like pulling out the win in SIX periods. The second picture of the girls collapsing after they finally ended on top. This was a game that went back and forth - especially in the end - and was physically and mentally exhausting. What a win girls!
Ok you were right. Sorry I missed these. I love that picture of the girl collapsing although my favorite part is the girl on the other team crouched down all alone in despair! Great picture!
