Basketball Banquet

Last Monday night, Cami and her girls and their parents meet in the beeautiful Carbon High cafeteria...for their end-of-season banquet. 

The banquet is always filled with lots of fun conversation and food (I'm told it's great food if you like or eat prime rib - yuck!).

And awards...Coach Carlson gives out certificates to all of her players.

But this year there was a more difficult thing to discuss...Coach Carlson officially let her parents and team know that she was retiring from coaching to work on her book.

There were a LOT of tears...by everyone. 

But we laughed!  The girls all went in a got Cami a back-up bionic hand!  (It's armor.)

(If you are unaware, Cami really does have a bionic hand - she can't hurt it especially when she's mad and hits a cement wall!)

For the record...her bionic hand was never actually needed this season.  :)
