Graduate School

As you are all aware, I have been working on getting my School Counseling Master's degree.  It has been an intensive program (yearly including summers, tough classes, etc.), but I have been able to handle it pretty well until this past semester.  This semester was tough!  Between working full-time, advising my service club, teaching Sunday School, going to class all night on Tuesdays, class work, family activities, and getting fit, I had to find 150+ hours to work as a counselor.  It was HARD!

The good news though is that it is over!  I'm just happy to have survived, and that I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.  I have 3 classes during the summer, then I will be an intern next fall (I will be taking a sabbatical from teaching for one quarter), and I will graduate next spring.  I can't wait!

Thanks for being patient with me...when I can't come to family functions or don't reply to emails or texts. I love you for supporting me.  Every little thing helps.

  1. You are absolutely amazing, Chels! I don't know how you've done it. That all sounds exhausting! We think of you often and hope that your summer classes go well.

  2. I am SO proud of you and incredibly impressed with your brain and will power! I look forward to hearing about your internship. I hope that is really cool. Where will you be interning? A sabbatical, wow, you are so grown up using words like that. Keep it up sister! I can't wait to be there for graduation.
