For the Carlsons last Easter (Cami's parents are leaving the end of June to serve as Mission Presidents in Armenia), we headed for the desert.
These tree huggers were excited to touch!
We are hiking Little Wild Horse Canyon the Carlson way - up and over the big boulders.

Grandpa Potts and Diane babysat Cy while we hiked...let's just say this is the closest thing to a smile that they say for the 2 hours we were gone! Cy's a mama's boy!
We brought our kites and finally got a consistent wind at the end of the day. I love this picture.
The next day most of the clan wanted to go shooting, so we watched the babies. Nolan did a lot of this...eating. And Cy did a lot of this...crying.
When Nolan was finally done eating, he and Aunt Cami got some zzzzz's.
We had colored eggs prior to our trip for family night, so we had a little hunt.
Everyone was a winner!

It was a great trip to the desert - but we were happy to get home and cleaned up from the wind.
