June 10th, the Carlsons had their "Farewell" talk in their ward. Diane and Steve had us all crying from the get-go, but they gave fantastic talks. They are spiritual giants.
Afterwards, we had a brunch for family members who had traveled far (including Mom and Dad) at Cristen and Val's house. It was a beautiful spread...and yummy!

Cristen, Nolan, and Grandma Potts (By the way, Grandma Potts was certain is wasn't possible for Mom to by MY mom because she was too young and skinny to be my mom! Haha! What happens when you get older that makes you loss your filter???)
Aunt Jacque (Steve's sister), her daughter, Becky and 2 of her sons. (She has a 3 year old, Ty, twin boys about 1 year Luke and Josh, and she's pregnant with another boy. She's super tough!)

The rowdy outsiders! The Tolleys, Grandpa Potts, the Manleys (Katie's family) and we were out there too.
With Uncle Ed, Cori (not in picture), and their son, Noah.
It was a sweet little gathering. There were lots of laughs and tears as Steve and Diane's family started saying their goodbyes.
Apparently, it was exhausting for Val! Haha!
