The cabin is "a happy place". That is the number one rule! We spent lots of time up at the cabin last week, eating yummy food, playing lots of cards and four-square, and the kids swam and swam and swam. I didn't get any pictures showing how high the lake was this year (at the beginning of JULY), but there was absolutely NO beach in front of the cabins. The water came all the way up to the cabins. It was crazy.
We also watched the fireworks out on the lake this year. Cristen and Val took out their boat. Oh. My. Goodness. they were gorgeous!
