Labor Day Weekend, this year, we decided to lay low. But I really wanted to camp. So Sunday night we packed our tent and some food, and headed up to Joe's Valley.
We were lucky to find an empty spot and some free firewood. But we did.
We had a nice time talking around the fire and eating smores.
On Monday, we planned to spend the day on the lake with Cami's family.
We had planned a little picnic lunch and brought all of our water toys, but the weather turned on us and we were scurrying to get inside to safety. The waves on the lake were HUGE, so we worked as fast as we could to get 2 waverunners and 2 boats off the water.
(But don't worry, as soon as they were out of the water...the storm passed.)
