"Forever in Blue Jeans", "Play Me", "Sweet Caroline", "Cherry Cherry", "America"...these were the songs of my childhood. Neil Diamond sang the songs our family enjoyed for hours while traveling to and fro on our summer trips. We sang our hearts out; we even danced our tails off (which to be honest, is quite embarrassing now to think about) to Neil. All I can say is that after seeing Neil Diamond in concert last Friday night (thanks to Cami), it was everything I imagined Neil to be. He has to be close to 60 years old, and he still HAS IT! It was inspiring to see someone still passionate about what they do after 35+ years...he had us all on our feet and feeling the music as he was. It was definately So Good, So Good!
Neil Diamond will forever make me think of the Roberts family!!! I'm glad to see you have a blog. Now I can see what you're up to. Will you be around here anytime soon?
ReplyDeleteYEAH NEIL!!! I'm so jealous! I know mom was eating her heart out. That is so fun that you just let it all go and danced your heart out! Dancing is such a release for the soul! At least for me. Some day I'm going to get back to taking dance lessons. (chubby or not) this body loves to dance. So I say good for you! Love your blog! Your so cool I love you!
